about me :)
I currently live in Florida. Having just moved from Chicago with my sweet new husband and our cats! I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre and applied dance minor from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UmD). While in Chicago I was lucky lucky enough to wrap up my first national commercial - as well as work on some Hulu sets and short films. With gratitude … I am happy to say I am a full time Actors Equity Contracted Performer here in Florida. the most magical place on earth..
throughout college these past 4 years I have been involved in many musicals, plays - original works and adaptations. I am honored to have been an Irene Ryan nominee for two consecutive years. The Irene Ryans are presented through the Kennedy Center American theatre festivals across the nation, in 2022 my scene partner and I were both presented with the most dynamic scene partnering awards. this past year (2023) I was thankful to have been chosen again as a nominee - for the role of Carol Kennicott - in umd’s production of Main Street by tom isbell. adapted from the Sinclair Lewis novel - placing with top ranks both years in the final Region 5 competition.
Some of my favorite college experiences include - Working at the Duluth Playhouse - at UMD - an Immersive outdoor theatre experience of Alice in Wonderland, the world premiere of Maxa the musical. And playing Lina Lamont in Singing’ In The Rain. i HAVE danced and choreographed for dance concerts and plays alike. While at UMD I wrote my own show titled woman of the ice. this play focuses on my personal connection to a young girl and how our lives intertwined around the events of the titanic.
Aside from the stage - I love photography. I think the magic of capturing a moment lives so well both on the stage and from behind a camera.
When I am not on stage or on a set - i am home with the cat and my new hubby! (i’m very excited about this) his name is Jake, we met and fell in love in college - coincidentally he’s also an actor. He proposed in London where some of my family is from - and yes it was every bit as magical as it sounds. if you have read this far you absolutely need to know I love winter weather - and I won’t lie… Christmas and ugly sweaters are some of my biggest personality traits.
I could not be where I am today without the undying support of my loving parents and friends, I am an old soul and I believe that I am here to tell stories. It is my job and my privilege to do so.
